Treasurer’s Report

v      Presented Financials for 8.5 months

v      Lot 2E – need to discuss overall strategy for dealing with property.  Discussion tabled until next meeting -  need to understand situation; contemplate opinion; presentation to board.

v      Discussed movement of $10,000 from operating account to T. Rowe Price.

o        Discussed potential for establishing a more aggressive investment strategy.   No decision made but options being weighted.

o        Motion to move $10,000 to T. Rowe Price [Heffner]; motion second [Terry]; unanimously approved.

v      Audit

v      Verify tax information received from Delong Stag.  Heffner believe only corporate taxes done [Federal & State].   Thought contract called for audit and ALL taxes to be prepared.  [Action Item – Terry to check with auditors – looking for property tax returns]

v      Lot 34F – waiving late fee – homeowner made contact to say they never received billings.

v      Lot 20E – initiate collection letter citing our lawyer will be contacting them [Action Item – Terry]

 

Newsletter

v      Articles to Stehlin by September 26th.

v      Each Board member to write one.

v      Once newsletter ‘pulled’ together – sent to each Board meeting for review and edit.

v      Target date for completed ‘product’ – October 5th

 

Annual Meeting

v      Scheduled for November 10th

v      Need at least draft budget for Fiscal 2010  [Action item  - Terry]

v      [Action Item - Stehlin] – Review contract files for vendor especially Greenlink & Ecology [trash company].  Inform Terry & Heffner,  Checking expiration date.

v      Compile minutes for year, summarizes, and brief meeting [Action Item – Stehlin]

 

AERC Committee

v      Approvals awarded:

1.        Lot 23F – garage door replaced

2.       Lot 24F – garage door replaced

3.       Lot 41F – 8 windows replaced

4.       Lot 49E – Existing deck replaced with composite material

5.       Lot 54E – 8’ x 7.5’ shred built.

v      Resurfacing of cracked streets in development [Action Item – Heffner]
