Treasurer’s Report
Second delinquency notices sent in September. At least 8-9 homeowners owe a year of dues. The board recommended that the Treasurer send a form letter to the delinquent individuals and include the amount owed to date plus dues for the remainder of the year. Failure to make payment will result in referring the delinquent account to the MWHOA attorney.
A line item for costs covering Covenant enforcement will be added to the 2007 budget.
Presidents Report
Covenant enforcement remains a major issue for the MWHOA. Non-compliance particularly with structural changes to homes continues to pose problems for the AERC and MWHOA Board members. The Board voted to removed John clay from the Board because of outstanding covenant violations.
It was agreed that the MWHOA attorney would send letters to homeowners with significant Covenant violations if no action was taken after the first warning letter from the Board.
