Motion to accept the December 8, 2004 minutes with corrections – approved
Michele to update the November 9 2004 minutes and send out for approval by the Board
The Board approved March 15, 2005 Minutes. Michele should add the signature line for Michele and Heather’s signature.
Financial update – 2 outstanding bills from the lawyer –1) retainer, per Thelena this bill for $1,800 has been paid; 2) transferring ponds structural maintenance $3,500.
2nd and 4th bills will include a newsletter.
Covenants are official. The lawyer is filing in the land records. 104 bylaws and covenants copies will go out to homeowners. A letter will tell them a replacement hard copy will be $25 but free from the Internet. Heather has asked the lawyer for a copy.
There is an issue about excessive dog barking, people should call animal control. We should include an article in the next newsletter. Heather will find out the number for animal control to include in newsletter.
Dave Reiter, John Patton and Al Williams– John Clay to touch base and give an update of all the approved projects. He will provide an update at the meetings and email for the minutes.
For the next newsletter, an article on insurance coverage should be included.
Painter – no response from painter. Michele will get estimates for other painters.

Include meeting dates and minutes on the MW website. Bylaws need to be scanned and placed on the website. Bylaws are in the Secretaries’ folder. A list of emails was provided to Michele to use to send minutes out.
Land swap with County government – parkland for the transfer station and the bus depot. There is talk to store school buses and transfer station at the park off of East Montgomery Avenue. Lake Marion is meeting weekly to fight it. MWHOA will join the fight. Need to find a volunteer to lead the effort. The board will send letters to homeowners to look for a volunteer to attend meetings at Lake Marion HOA. There was an article in the Gaithersburg Gazette. The board is unanimous to fight this move to swap land.
