Election of Vice
President:
Motion was made and voted upon (three yeas) of accepting Chris Rhawn for one year term as Vice President. Michele explained to Chris that the duties of VP and County Liaison were two separate functions.
Board Approvals from last meeting (Email/Phone votes):
Michele will keep a hard copy of votes being done via email for record keeping
Treasurer’s Report:
Revenues received through end of February in the amount of $13,805, expenses in the amount of $5,573.
T. Rowe Price Funds in the amount of $15,024 through Dec 2007 (statements are sent quarterly).
Delinquent Homeowners: Lot 1F = $455.00 and Lot 2E = $1935 + Violation fines.
Motion was made and voted ( 4 yeas) upon to accept financial report.
Much discussion was made about Michele contacting the Thomas Schild Law Group in taking action on Owner 2E for outstanding dues and non response to several certified letters sent to home regarding violations on property. Vote carried with 4 yeas to contact Chris Hitchens of the Thomas Schild Law Group.
AERC: 4 approvals granted
Lot 37E Screened room on back with white siding and vinyl to match house color
Lot 20F All season room on back with color to match house
Lot 8F Patio, roof and deck approved
Lot 8F Large shed
Covenant Enforcement:
The Board voted to send hearing letters to the following homeowners:
Lot 38F Shed too large and a hearing letter sent to give homeowner opportunity to discuss the issue
Lot 21E Shed rusted, fence not split rail and fence needs repair
Lot 1F Metal Shed and visible Trash bins
Lot 6F Visible Trash bins and unapproved widened driveway
Lot 52E Visible Trash bins, satellite dish and broken fence post
Lot 25E Visible Trash bins
Lot 16E Satellite dishes and broken fence
Lot 9F Building material on property
Lot 20F Lattice behind fence and fence repairs
Lot 29E Small boat on property
Color Pallet: AERC update current McCormick color pallet to eliminate unacceptable ones for community
Newsletter: Going Out with 2nd Quarter
Statements
Michele asked that the newsletter contain the process for covenant enforcement and also of the upcoming Community Clean-Up day (John to write). Ask for volunteers/ especially high school students for earning Service Learning Hours.
Bulk Pick-up on May 3rd
County Liaison:
Chris to contact county about replacing missing trees located on Centerway Road and also road repair at the intersection of Kinglet and Mourning Dove Court
Community Clean-up
Day:
Decision: Board agreed to serve coffee and donuts and have a flyer delivered at each door. (Heather Patton to take lead)
Action Items:
Michele requested outstanding action items up front on future minutes and agendas.
